Built in 1903 and refurbished in 2005, the Caledonian Hilton Hotel was once known as the flagship hotel of the Caledonian Railway. Set in the centre of town on Princes Street overlooking Edinburgh Castle, this Victorian property features 251 guestrooms combining traditional style with contemporary furnishings. Decorated in neutral tones the rooms feature wool carpets, stylish sofas and tartan fabrics. DRIVING DIRECTIONS
Frequent daily bus services run from the bus station adjacent to the Terminal to the central Edinburgh bus terminus at Waverley Bridge, buses to the city centre cost about £5. Taxis are also available from a taxi rank adjacent to the Terminal and cost approximately £15.
Driving directions: From the airport - Take the A8 east from the airport and follow the signs for Edinburgh City Centre. The hotel is located on the west end of Princes Street.
