New Orleans Sights, Sounds and Hotels
At the heart of the French Quarter of New Orleans is Jackson Square, a park of lush greenery and bordered by a pedestrian mall. Sidewalk artists, tap dancers, Dixieland bands and clowns entertain and amuse the crowds here, giving the park a vibrant life that is so typical of New Orleans. An equestrian statue of Andrew Jackson presides over the centre of the park reminding the people of whom it was that defeated the British in the Battle of New Orleans.
It is simply unforgivable not to go to the French Quarter, and while you're there you have to visit New Orleans Jackson Square. It's just as simple as that! You will be overcome with pleasure in any of the fabulous New Orleans New Orleans Hotels.
